A Letter from Hailey Oppenlander '22

When I was a senior in high school, I couldn’t help but dream about all the big events and opportunities I would soon experience at Notre Dame.

Things like waking up at 6 a.m. to hold signs at College Gameday, then watching the Irish beat Michigan at my first Notre Dame football game. Performing at AcoustiCafé on Library Lawn and hearing my friends obnoxiously shout my name from the crowd. Going on a Center for Social Concerns Seminar to the American South, and being able to stand in spaces of both incomprehensible devastation and profound resistance during the Civil Rights movement. Seeing Renée Elise Goldsberry from Hamilton perform “Schuyler Sisters” in the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center.

Notre Dame has incredible resources and opportunities that will allow you to experience these once-in-a-lifetime moments. READ MORE >>

    Take a Virtual Campus Tour
We know it's tough to learn about a university without visiting in person. So much of the college search is about finding your "fit"—and that's often based on the feeling you get when you arrive on campus.

We invite you to see campus and talk with current students on a live virtual tour.

Virtual Campus Tour for Admitted Students
Tuesday evenings at 8:00 p.m. ET

In the meantime, we hope this recorded virtual tour helps. Led by a current student, highlights include the Golden Dome, Duncan Student Center, and Notre Dame Stadium.

We take pride in our faculty, who number over 1,300 scholars, and are achieving research breakthroughs in a wide range of disciplines, including environmental sciences, peace studies, cancer, and nanoelectronics.

Beyond expertise in their fields, our faculty are deeply committed to teaching our undergraduate students.

In this video, six professors answer the question "Why Notre Dame?" They talk about what brought them to the University and highlight the unique aspects of our undergraduate education.

    Global Perspective
    Opportunities through Keough School Institutes
The Keough School of Global Affairs brings together nine international institutes and centers across the University to provide an intellectual home for Notre Dame students, faculty, and practitioners.

Many of our undergraduate programs are integrally connected to these institutes and centers.

Whether or not they are enrolled in a class through Keough, all students can pursue their global interests through research opportunities, international experiences, grants, and fellowships.

Aside from academic pursuits, our students say they most enjoy building relationships with their professors and fellow students.

Check out the Keough School institutes and centers.
