Bright Futures
Katie Beirne Fallon '98, SVP at Hilton Worldwide, Former White House Director
Katie Beirne Fallon '98 majored in government and international studies in the College of Arts and Letters at Notre Dame.

She was the director of legislative affairs at the White House and is now senior vice president and global head of corporate affairs at Hilton Worldwide.

In this video, she talks about working at the White House and how her Notre Dame education prepared her for that work.

Force for Good
Idea Generation: How a Business Class is Designing Better Futures for Girls School 8,400 Miles Away
Check out this story on Innovation and Design Thinking, a unique business course taught by professor Wendy Angst through the Mendoza College of Business.

Ten Notre Dame undergraduates went with Angst to Kolongo, Uganda before the COVID pandemic hit. Along with 60 classmates back on campus, the group used a design thinking approach to help plan a future for a Kolongo school, St. Bakhita’s Vocational Training Center.
